% 26.08.2020 (hearing through Video Conferencing) The supplementary status report dated 23.08.2020 has been filed on behalf of the State in terms of the order dated 11.08.2020. The medical report dated 22.08.2020 has been received from the Superintendent Jail, Delhi, as per which the present condition of the applicant is stable and he was reviewed by Jail visiting SR Surgery along with USG KUB and XRay KUB and he has been advised medications which are being provided to him from the Jail Dispensary. In as much as the present application had been filed on behalf of the applicant seeking the grant of interim bail for a period of 2 months, in view of the submission that he is aged 70 years and that there is a likelihood of his suffering from Covid-19 and getting infected from the same and that he needs to be released on interim bail to safeguard his life, it is essential to observe that adequate measures are being taken at the jail to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
