CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JAYANT NATH

% 17.07.2020 This hearing is conducted through Video Conferencing. CM Nos.15336-15337/2020 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. W.P.(C) 4254/2020 1.

This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking an appropriate direction to NRC/WRC to process the application of the petitioner institution in its next meeting and to decide the same on issuance of formal recognition letter.

2.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner institution submitted its application to NRC for grant of recognition of D.EI.Ed. course of two years duration for the academic year 2009-10, as per the norms of the NCTE. The application of the petitioner was rejected. The petitioner filed a Writ Petition before the High Court of Judicature for Rajasthan and it was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the petitioner's

application, in accordance with the Regulations of 2014. Different proceedings have taken place thereafter before the Rajasthan High Court and before the NCTE. The matter is now pending before NRC and NRC had issued a Show Cause Notice to the petitioner on 4.5.2017. The petitioner on 26.4.2017 had replied to the queries and the matter is pending with NRC/WRC.

3.

Keeping in view the facts of this case, it would be in the interest of justice that NRC/WRC may dispose of the case of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within eight weeks from today. 4.

Nothing further survives in the petition. Petition is disposed of. All pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. JAYANT NATH, J JULY 17, 2020/n
