This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. CM APPL. No. 29499/2025 (for directions) 2.

This is an application filed by the Petitioner/Applicant seeking relief in terms of the judgment dated 9th April, 2025 passed by this Court. 3.

By the said judgment dated 9th April, 2025, the gold articles of the Petitioner/Applicant which were detained by the Respondent- Customs Department were directed to be released within a period of one week. The grievance of the Petitioner/Applicant is that the same has not been released. 4.

Mr.Harpreet Singh, ld. Counsel for the Respondent-Department submits that an e-mail has now been written to the counsel for the Petitioner/Applicant stating that the Petitioner/Applicant may visit the Customs warehouse at any time and the judgment dated 9th April, 2025, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. would be complied with.

It is made clear that only 50% of the warehouse charges can be charged and the same shall be calculated uptil the date of the judgment i.e. till 9th April, 2025 only.

Accordingly, it is directed that the goods be released latest by 22nd May, 2025 after verifying the credentials of the Petitioner/Applicant or the Authorized Representative of the Petitioner/Applicant within two weeks. If the said directions are not complied with, the Petitioner is free to mention the matter before this Court.
