issuing direction to the authorities concerned for protection of the national bird said to be suffering on account of electrocution in various installations of the power distribution companies (DISCOMS).

For the said purpose, the petitioner has made a representation vide email dated 03.04.2025 to the Department of Forest and Wildlife, to the Secretary, Power, GNCTD, New Delhi and to certain other bodies. 4.

Learned counsel representing certain respondents have stated that no such representation have been made even to these respondents. 5.

Be that as it may. Since the representation for redressal of the grievances appears to have been made only on 03.04.2025 and within a week thereafter this petition has been filed, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition which is hereby dismissed.

We, nonetheless, permit the petitioner to approach the appropriate authorities by way of making an exhaustive representation taking all the pleas which may be available to him under law within a fortnight. In case any such representation is made, the same shall be considered and decided and an appropriate action which may be warranted in law shall also be taken by the competent authority.
