The present writ petition has been filed for directions to respondent no. 1-Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), to stop and demolish the unauthorized construction being carried out in the property bearing no. 16A, Shri Ram Road, Civil Lines, Delhi.

Learned counsel for respondent no. 1-MCD on advance notice, submits that construction being carried out in the property in question, is pursuant to the sanctioned Building Plan.

of the sanction granted by the MCD vide order dated 25th February, 2025. It is submitted that sanction Building Plan is valid till February, 2030. 4.

Thus, it is submitted that the construction of the building is being carried out after seeking relevant permission from the MCD and in accordance with the sanctioned Building Plan. 5.

Per contra, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that sanction for construction could not have been granted by the MCD, and that the same is against the norms, for the area in question.

In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the sanction of the building plan by the MCD, the petitioner is at liberty to seek appropriate legal remedies. 7.

Noting the aforesaid, the present petition, along with pending applications, is disposed of.
