This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "i. Issue an appropriate writ, order, or direction directing Respondent Nos.1 and 2 - DDA/STF to forthwith take action and demolish the unauthorised permanent structure constructed by Respondent Nos. 8 and 9 by encroaching upon vacant government/public land and to restore the public land to its original status, ensuring safe, clear and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

ii. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, directing Respondent No. 5 and 6 - TPDDL to restore the original meter service wire and regularise the meter service connection from temporary service into a safe and permanent arrangement, free from illegal interference of Respondent Nos. 8 and 9;

iii. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, restraining Respondent Nos. 8 and 9 from constructing any further unauthorised structure by encroaching upon vacant government land; . . ."

For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 3.

Ms. Takiar, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 and 2. Mr. Dutta, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent Nos. 3, 4, and 5. Mr. Srivastava, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No. 6. Mr. Gupta, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No. 7. 4.

There is nobody appearing on behalf of the respondent Nos. 8 and 9 today, however, the matter is being taken up for hearing. 5.

The present petition has been filed seeking removal of the unauthorised/illegal encroachment carried out by the respondent Nos. 8 and 9 over the vacant government/public land in front of the petitioner's house at C-223/224, JJ Colony, Sector-25, Rohini, Delhi. 6.

Additionally, the petitioner also states that the illegal and unauthorised construction is jeopardising the sewage and drainage pipelines as well as the regular electricity supply. A perusal of the photographs annexed with the petition clearly shows encroachment made by the respondent Nos. 8 and 9. 8.

Mr. Dutta, learned standing counsel, on instructions, states that the complaint made to the respondent No. 2 has been forwarded to the respondent Nos. 3 to 5 and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with law, expeditiously and not later than 4 weeks from today.

Taking the statement of Mr. Dutta, learned standing counsel, on record and binding the respondent Nos. 3, 4 and 5 to the same, the present petition is disposed of.

10. A copy of the action taken report shall be supplied to the petitioner and shall also be placed on record.

11. In case the same is not done within 8 weeks from today, the file shall be put up by the Registry before the Court.

12. In case of any further grievance, the petitioner is at liberty to revive the petition/ file a fresh petition.
