We have perused the Status Report dated 11.05.2026 handed over by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State. 2.
Unfortunately, the whereabouts of the missing boy have still not been traced.

The learned Standing Counsel fairly requests that the investigation be transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of Delhi Police, South District. We direct the same. 4.
Apart from tracing the missing boy, further efforts be also made to investigate the call which has been received by the petitioner from the known number. apprehend that similar calls may be made to other unsuspecting parents and it might result in extortion. The said call shall therefore be taken very seriously by the respondents.

Reports on a bi-monthly basis be filed by the respondents before the concerned Magistrate. The petitioner shall also be entitled to participate in such proceedings.
