This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner- Ravi Shankar seeking issuance of directions to the Respondents to not dispossess or obstruct or disturb the Petitioner in carrying on his trade from his vending spot being Opposite Shop No.64, Vegetable Market, Sarojini Nagar Market, New Delhi110001 (hereinafter, 'the vending spot'). 3.

Further, the Petitioner seeks issuance of directions to the Respondents to permit him to participate in the survey being conducted by the Town Vending Committee (hereinafter, TVC) and to issue the certificate of vending in favour of the Petitioner as per the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of livelihood and regulation of street vending) Act, 2014. 4.

The case of the Petitioner is that he has been vending from his vending spot for the last 30 years. This position is disputed by the Respondents. It is noted that the relief sought in the present petition is for permitting the Petitioner to take part in the survey being conducted by the TVC. 6.

Accordingly, it is directed that the Petitioner's documents be verified by the TVC and thereafter, he may be permitted, if eligible, to participate in the survey.

The petition is disposed of in the said terms. Pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.
