This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to quash the letter of rejection dated 30.06.2020 and also to direct AICTE/respondent to give a hearing to the petitioner and to pass a speaking order.

The case of the petitioner is that it is an institution seeking approval from AICTE for Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Session 2020-21. The institution is said to be ready with all the infrastructural and instructional facilities for starting the course. However, it is claimed that due to procedural error in the mentioning of the longitude and latitude in the application filed by the petitioner, the application has been rejected. W.P.(C)4340/2020

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. A perusal of the impugned order, namely, the letter of rejection dated 30.06.2020 shows that the application of the petitioner was rejected on the ground "Latitude and Longitude- Not Presented".

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent has pointed out that the Latitude and Longitude that was given by the petitioner was rechecked and it was found that some Awadh Madhav College of Nursing and Science was running from there. He submits that in case the correct longitude and latitudes are provided the respondent will decide the matter, as per law. 5.

Let the petitioner supply the correct latitude and longitude to the respondent/learned counsel for respondent within three days from today. A personal hearing be provided to the petitioner. The respondent shall thereafter deal with the said application of the petitioner, as per law. Needful be done as expeditiously as possible.
