The petitioner seeks release on parole. Learned APP accepts notice and submits that till date the competent authority is yet to take decision on petitioner's application for parole which was submitted by him on 20.02.2025 before the concerned authorities.

Under these circumstances, the petition is disposed of directing the respondent to decide the parole application of the petitioner within two weeks and thereafter, depending upon the decision or even indecision on the said parole application, the petitioner shall have liberty to approach this Court again.
