% 05.01.2026 Ms. Vrinda Bhandari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that the present petition has now been rendered infructuous since vide order dated 27.11.2025, Hon'ble the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has approved the recommendation made by the Sentence Review Board at its meeting dated 16.10.2025; and consequently the petitioner's sentence has been remitted and the petitioner has been released from prison.

Ms. Bhandari has handed-up a copy of order dated 27.11.2025 in court. Let the same be taken on record.

Learned counsel accordingly seeks leave to withdraw the present petition, as having been rendered infructuous.
