The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for production of body of the minor daughter of the Petitioner who is aged about 17 years.

It is the case of the Petitioner that the daughter of the Petitioner has been missing since 03.04.2025.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State submits that steps have been taken by the Police and the girl has been recovered from Khekri village, Tehsil- Chandpur, District- Bijnore, Uttar Pradesh on 24.04.2025.

The girl is present in the Court today and her statement has been recorded. She states that she was in love with a boy whom she has known for 1.5 years and eloped with him.
