The present application has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. read with Section 37 of the NDPS Act seeking extension of interim bail in FIR No. 28/2016 under Sections 18/29 of the NDPS Act registered at P.S. Special Cell.

Mr. Hemant Gulati, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although the petitioner had undergone surgery for the removal of renal stone Bail Appln. 1785/2020 Page 1 of 2

on 08.07.2020 and remained hospitalised for some time however, after the discharge, the operated wound has been infected and there is discharge of pus from the said wound.

Ms. Radhika Kolluru, learned APP for the State accepts notice. She has shared a screenshot of advise dated 17.07.2020 issued by Dr. Manish Tandon, Shri Ganga Charan Aryavardhan Hospital, Bareilly verifying the facts that the petitioner has undergone the surgery and needs some time to recover.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 11.06.2020 is extended by another two weeks on the same terms and conditions.
