Learned counsel for the petitioner on 13.05.2024 had submitted that the petitioner has expired. Accordingly, a direction was given to the IO to verify the factum of death of petitioner.

A status report dated 27.05.2024 has been handed over in the Court today by the learned APP for the State, the same is taken on record. 3.

A perusal of the said report reveals that the petitioner has passed away on 27.03.2024 and his cremation was done on 28.03.2024 at his native place. 4.

In view of the above, the present petition has rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
