The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "a.

Extend the Interim Bail for a period of 45 days on the expiry of the period of Interim Bail granted by the Sessions Court."

The petitioner was granted interim bail by an order 01.06.2020 for a period of 15 days on the ground that his wife was ailing. The said interim bail was extended by an order dated 18.06.2020. The court noted the submissions that the petitioner's case was covered under the guidelines issued by the High Powered Committee on 18.05.2020. The report from the

IO was called and same indicated that the petitioner had no previous involvement. Considering the above, learned ASJ extended the interim bail till 15.07.2020 on the same terms and conditions. However, the petitioner's subsequent application was rejected.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's case is covered by the decision of the Full Bench dated 13.07.2020, whereby it has been inter alia directed that interim bail granted to various accused in terms of the guidelines issued by the High Powered Committee stand extended till 31.08.2020.

Accordingly, the present petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner is extended till 31.08.2020 on the same terms and conditions as set out in the order dated 01.06.2020 passed by the learned Sessions Court.
