The Petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking directions against the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (hereinafter, "EDMC") from permitting any unauthorized construction by Respondent No.2. The Petitioner and Respondent No.2 are neighbors in the Trilok Puri area in Delhi. It is the Petitioner's case that there is unauthorized construction being carried out by Respondent No.2 and repeated representations to the EDMC have not yielded any result.

Mr. Harish Khinchi, ld. Counsel appearing for the EDMC submits that he has received an advance copy of the petition. He further submits that the EDMC has already taken action and booked the building for unauthorized construction. Copy of the letter dated 16th July, 2020 written to By:PRATHIBA M SINGH

the SHO of PS Kalyan Puri by the EDMC has been placed on record. The same is directed to be supplied to ld. Counsel for the Petitioner. 4.

In view thereof, it is clear that no further unauthorized construction can be permitted in the building concerned. If either party has any further grievance, they may approach the Special Task Force which is looking into matters concerning unauthorized construction. The concerned authorities are expected to ensure that no unauthorized construction takes place. 5.

With these observations, the present petition along with the pending applications is disposed of.
