This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(a) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the Respondent no. 1 to 4 to disclose the criteria, procedure/ mechanism and the basis being adopted by them for deciding the fees structure proposed by the respondent no. 5 and 6 for different academic years;

(b) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the Respondent no. 1 to 4 to disclose the criteria, procedure/ mechanism and the basis being adopted by them for deciding the fees structure proposed by the respective private unaided schools situated within the State of NCT of Delhi;

(c) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the Respondent no. 1 to 4 to formulate a transparent uniform Regulatory Mechanism/ policy for deciding the fee structure proposed by the respective private unaided schools situated within the State of NCT of Delhi, keeping in mind the best interest and welfare of various children studying in different schools situated within the State and for the said purpose, take appropriate steps/ measures in that regard including establishing a regulatory authority, if need be, to perform such functions as may be prescribed;" 2.

The petitioners state that they are the parents of the children studying in respondents No. 5 and 6 schools which are Private Unaided Recognized Senior Secondary Schools. It is the grievance of the petitioners that there are various issues pending between respondents No. 5 and 6 and respondents No. 1 to 4 regarding the fee structure of the students for various years. There are also other issues pending between respondents No. 5 and 6 and respondents No. 1 to 4. The grievance of the petitioners essentially is that they have been kept in the dark and have no knowledge about the mechanism being followed for settling the fee structure. 3.

Let respondents No. 1 to 4 treat this writ petition as a representation of the petitioners. The said representation may be disposed of by an appropriate order and the same may be communicated to the petitioners. 4.
