This is a writ petition suo moto taken by this Court upon an e-mail dated 23.02.2019 received from Mr. Avinash Jangid. Mr. Avinash has pointed out in his e-mail that he is suffering from Cervical Spondylosis disease and is advised for MRI Cervical Spine. The treatment is to be taken under Delhi Arogya Kosh Scheme (DAK) where Voter-ID Card is a mandatory requirement under Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) scheme.

Notice was issued by this Court. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent is now making a statement that the claim of Avinash Jangid will be processed under the Delhi Arogya Kosh Scheme on the basis of his existing identity documents without insisting upon his Voter-ID Card. W.P.(C) 4437/2019

It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent No.1 that Mr. Avinash Jangid can contact Director General of Health Services or any other officer for taking treatment under DAK scheme which will be communicated by the respondent No.1 on his e-mail address avijd20@gmail.com.

With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is hereby disposed of.
