O R D E R

% 29.04.2019 Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby directing the respondent to forthwith consider the applications received for the vacant posts advertised in Advertisement No. RC/03/2017. He further seeks direction declaring the decision of the University in calling for fresh applications to the vacant posts vide Advertisement RC/59/2019 without considering the applications already received to the same vacant post vide Advertisement RC/03/2017 is violative of Article 14 of the Constitution.

Ms. Monika Arora, learned counsel appeared on behalf of the respondent on an advance notice and submits that none was found suitable for the post in question in the year 2017, therefore, the fresh Advertisement No. RC/59/2019 has been issued.

The case of the petitioner is that there is no communication to the

petitioner pursuant to the Advertisement No. RC/03/2017. Counsel for the respondent submits since none was found suitable, therefore, the post has not been filled up.

To this effect, as to why, the petitioner was not eligible for the post in question pursuant to Advertisement No. RC/03/2017, liberty given to the petitioner to make a representation within two weeks and on receipt of the notice, University is directed to respond the same within two weeks thereafter. The decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
