It is informed by both sides that the eviction order in the main petition has already been passed on 27.08.2025. According to learned counsel for respondents, the present petition has become infructuous because it was made clear by the predecessor bench that the eviction proceedings would continue. On the other hand, learned counsel for petitioners seeks adjournment on the ground that he has to file revision against the eviction order.

Learned counsel for petitioners also discloses that the respondents have till date not paid costs of Rs. 20,000/- which was imposed by the trial court.

The fact remains that the eviction petition has already been passed and by way of the present petition, the order rejecting the application to take on record subsequent events has been assailed. 4.
