This is an application filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of interim bail to the petitioner. 2.

Mr. Juneja, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the marriage of the sister of the applicant is scheduled for 16.04.2025. He has enclosed the wedding invitation card as a proof of marriage. It is submitted that the applicant being the real brother, his presence at the time of marriage of his sister is essential for performing ritual ceremonies. 3.

Superintendent to make necessary arrangement to take the applicant/accused at the venue of the marriage in the custody of police and such order has been passed subject to furnishing a personal of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like amount.

Learned APP submits that the factum and venue of the marriage of the sister of the applicant is duly verified and State has no objection in case the applicant be permitted to attend the wedding in judicial custody. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the presence of the security/police officials in uniform at the marriage venue would cause embarrassment to the petitioner. He prays that the duration of the custody parole may be increased and the security/police officials be deployed in plain clothes at the marriage venue.

Since the factum of the wedding of the sister of the applicant is duly verified, the order dated 05.04.2025 passed by the learned trial court is modified with direction to the Jail Superintendent to make necessary arrangements to take the applicant/accused in Judicial Custody at the venue of the marriage from 6:00 PM to 12:00 PM, in order to enable him to attend the wedding of his sister with further direction that the security/police officials escorting the applicant would be in plain clothes. 7.

The petition is disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order. 8.

A copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for information and necessary compliance.
