% 18.10.2024 At the outset, Sh. Maninder Singh, learned senior counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present bail applications and contempt petition with liberty to file a fresh anticipatory bail application before the Ld. Sessions Court.
Sh. Sanjeev Bhandari, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the petitioner may withdraw the anticipatory bail application. However, interim protection may not be extended. In view of the submissions of the learned senior counsel for the petitioner, the present petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. Let the fresh anticipatory bail application be filed before the Ld. Sessions Court. Ld. Sessions Court shall decide the same in accordance with law and taking into account the subsequent investigation conducted by the police and the affidavit filed by the petitioner before this Court.
