O R D E R

% 30.01.2018 Petitioner is seeking parole for the reasons mentioned in the petition; one such reason is to file an SLP against the dismissal of his appeal by this Court on 13.11.2017 as also to re-establish social ties. The nominal roll of the petitioner reflects that he is a convict under Section 489C/34 of the IPC. The maximum sentence awarded to him is RI for 3 years and to pay a fine of Rs.3000/- in default of payment of fine to undergo SI for 3 months. As on 16.01.2018 the petitioner has undergone incarceration of about 21⁄2 years. His jail conduct is satisfactory. He is working as a Canteen Sahayak in the Jail. A status report has been filed.

This is a fit case, where the petitioner should be granted the prayer made for by him. Accordingly, the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks (to be counted from the date of his

release) on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendant concerned with condition that the petitioner shall report to the local SHO on every Monday of each week; he shall also furnish his latest mobile number and residential address to the local SHO.

Petition disposed of in the above terms.

Copy of this order be sent to Jail Superintendant concerned for intimation to the petitioner.
