The instant writ petition under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for seeking parole for a period of three months to participate in the marriage of his elder daughter. Status report is on record. Factum of marriage of his elder daughter is confirmed. 2.

Nominal Roll dated 15.01.2018 reveals that the petitioner was convicted under Sections 302/34 IPC and was sentenced to undergo life imprisonment with fine ` 2,000/-. Crl.A.571/2007 was dismissed by this Court on 28.05.2008. Nominal Roll further reveals that the petitioner has already undergone fifteen years, eight months and twenty-three days incarceration besides remission for three years, one month and thirteen days as on 13.01.2018. It further reveals that he is not involved in any other criminal case and is not a previous convict. Earlier he was granted furlough on various occasions and there are no allegations of its misuse.

In the interest of justice and for the reasons mentioned in the writ petition to enable him to participate in the marriage of his real daughter fixed on 10.02.2018, the petitioner is granted two weeks parole from the date of his release, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `30,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. After completion of parole period, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. 4.
