% 14.09.2024 Appellant has filed an appeal for enhancement of the award dated 02.09.2022 passed by the learned MACT awarding compensation of Rs.6,26,000/- along with interest @ 8% p.a. from the date of filing of the claim petition.

After comprehensive discussion, it is agreed between the parties that the appellant(s) shall get enhanced amount of Rs. 1,75,000/- as lump sum compensation over and above the award of the learned Tribunal as full and final compensation. Ld. Counsel for the appellant submits that enhancement amount be released. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In view of the above settlement, insurance company is directed to deposit the amount of Rs., 1,75,000/- before the Registrar General of this Court within 06 weeks, failing which it shall carry interest @ 9% p.a. on the delayed deposit. Let the said amount be released to the appellant subject to fulfilment of all the requisite formalities. The present appeal along with the pending application(s), if any, is disposed of with directions in terms of the foregoing settlement.

A copy of this order be sent to concerned Ld. Tribunal with LCR, if requisitioned and received.
