This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "(a) issue a Civil Writ of Mandamus thereby directing the Respondent to communicate the decision in respect of Petitioners Application submitted for seeking approval / extension of approval of the applied courses, including M. Pharm and Pharm D. for academic session 2026-27, in compliance of order dated 23.03.2026 passed by the Hon9ble Supreme Court of India in W.P. (C) No.57/2026; and/or. ..." 2.
For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 3.
Mr. Singh, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.
The learned counsel for the petitioner, draws my attention to the Hon'ble Supreme Court's order dated 23.03.2026 in Writ Petition (Civil) The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
No. 57 of 2026, wherein it has been directed as under:- "Writ Petition (Civil) No. 57 of 2026
4. As far as the prayer(s) for academic session 2025-2026 is concerned, no orders are required to be passed.
5. The petitioner shall make an application for approval of M. Pharm and Pharm D. Courses within a period of one week from today, for which reason the portal shall be open for receiving the said application. The application shall be considered by the Pharmacy Council of India on or before 30.04.2026. Thereafter, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam University shall takes its decision with regard to affiliation within a period of three weeks.
6. With these directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of." 5.
Even though the inspection has been done, the respondent has not considered the application of the petitioner as per the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court i.e., by 30.04.2026.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent states, that the meeting of the Executive Council is scheduled on 11.05.2026, wherein the Executive Council will decide the application and communicate the same to the petitioner.

Even though the respondent is in violation of the Order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the consideration of the application on 11.05.2026 by the Executive Council is acceptable to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 8.
In case the Order is not passed by 11.05.2026, the petitioner will be entitled to revive the petition.
