% 02.07.2024 1.

A Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C has been filed for setting aside the Order dated 01.02.2024 vide which the petitioner was directed to deposit a sum of Rs.13 lakhs for release of the vehicle on superdari which has been partly modified vide Order dated 26.02.204 by the learned Principle District & Sessions Judge, wherein the amount directed to be deposited has been reduced from Rs.13 lakhs to Rs.6 lakhs in the form of Demand Draft in the name of the Court before the release of the vehicle. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has no justification for seeking further reduction in this amount, except that the crane which is the vehicle involved, is the only source of income.

On specific query it has been clarified that this crane was purchased in the year 2022. 3.

Considering the circumstances, no ground is made out for further reduction in the superdari amount.
