By way of the present petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner assails the order dated 16.04.2026, whereby the learned Appellate Court dismissed his revision petition challenging an order on charge dated 29.04.2022, passed by the learned Trial Court.

After some hearing, Mr. Gurmit Singh Hans, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this petition, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the petitioner in the pending criminal proceedings.

Mr. Hans, however, seeks that the petitioner be exempted from personal appearance before the learned Trial Court. The petitioner is at liberty to make such an application before the learned Trial Court. 4.
The petition, alongwith pending applications, stands dismissed as withdrawn.
