The petition is for the following reliefs:

"1. Issue a Writ of Certiorari quashing the interim suspension orders dated 26.04.2026 and the Notification dated 27.04.2026.

2. Direct the Respondents to restore the licenses of the Petitioners with immediate effect.

3. Award damages for defamation in tune of Rs. 20,00,000 for the loss of reputation and professional standing caused by the public notification of the suspension."

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in terms of the notification dated 18.05.2026, the interim suspension earlier imposed against the petitioner has been revoked.

In view thereof, so far as the interim suspension is concerned, the petition has rendered infructuous.

However, the petitioner has further prayed for damages to the tune of Rs. 20,00,000/- for the loss of reputation and profession standing. 5.

The Court finds that in order to seek the aforesaid remedy, the parties will have to adduce oral and documentary evidence and the same will be determined depending upon various facts and circumstances including the defence to be taken by the respondents. The said exercise may not be amenable to be undertaken in the writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petitioner, therefore, will have to take appropriate remedy for the same.

Accordingly, reserving the aforesaid liberty in favour of the petitioner, the petition, along with pending application, stands disposed of.
