The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent-MCD to release a sum of ₹1,05,61,894/- due and payable to petitioner under work order dated 25th February, 2022. 2.

Attention of the Court has been drawn to running bill dated 28th March, 2023 (Annexure P-5 to the writ petition), in terms of which, it is submitted that MCD has approved the said bill. It is further submitted that a legal notice was issued to MCD on 27th November, 2024 (Annexure P-6 to the writ petition). However, no response thereto has been received. 3.

Issue notice.
