The present writ petition has been filed challenging the election to the Delhi Medical Council, which is scheduled on 31st May, 2026, between 9 AM to 5 PM, at the DMC Building located in the DMRC IT Park, Shastri Park, Delhi.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the location of the said venue is an inconvenient location. She further submits that considering the size of the electorate of 70,000 members, the election has been scheduled only between 9 AM to 5 PM, with fifteen (15) EVMs. 3.

location has been carefully chosen next to a Metro Station. He further submits that the location has 5000 sq. ft. covered area, which is centrally airconditioned with adequate parking. He also submits that there are 60 EVMs that will be used for the election process in 20 booths. Accordingly, he submits that adequate arrangements have been made for the smooth and fair conduct of the elections.

Taking note of the aforesaid submissions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
