The petitioners have filed the above captioned petition with the following prayer:- "Pass an order directing the respondents to issue the Certificates of Vending to the petitioners and not to disturb the operation of the vending/ hawking unit of the petitioners at South Zone;"

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) submits that petitioner nos.2,3 and 4 have been issued the Certificate of Vending (COV) and the petition does not survive any more in this regard. As far as the petitioner no.1 is concerned, his documents were not in order and in the meanwhile, a new Town Vending Committee has been constituted and his COV will also be issued after the survey is completed, subject to the terms.

The learned counsel for the MCD is bound down by the statement. 4.
