% 03.02.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to allow export goods of petitioner 'back to town'. Petitioner further seeks direction to the respondent to issue detention certificate for the period of holding up of goods. Learned counsel for petitioner states that even after let exports being allowed by Customs, petitioner's consignment was not allowed to be shipped and kept on hold by the respondent. He further states that despite repeated requests to ship the seasonal goods, no action was taken by the respondent, which led to cancellation of export orders by the buyers, causing financial loss as well as loss of reputation and credibility of the petitioner in the market.

Issue notice.

Notice is accepted on behalf of the respondent. Mr.C.P.Pandey Advocate appearing on behalf of Ms.Sonia Sharma, learned Senior Standing Counsel for Customs states that he has no instructions in the present case.

A perusal of the paper book reveals that the present writ petition has been filed as various representations of the petitioner have not been replied to by the respondent.

Consequently, this Court disposes of the present writ petition along with the application by directing the respondent to treat the present writ petition as representation of the petitioner and to decide the same within a period of four weeks, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

Needless to say that the petitioner will cooperate with the respondents.
