% 27.07.2020 This hearing has been held by video conferencing. CM No.16507/2020 (Exemption from filing notarized affidavit and affixing of court fee) 1.

This application has been filed seeking exemption from filing duly notarised affidavits and affixing requisite court fee. Binding the deponent of the affidavit to the contents of the application, the exemption is granted. 2.

Court fee shall be deposited online with the concerned authority within one week and physical stamp be filed within 72 hours from the date of resumption of regular functioning of the Court, as mandated in terms of Office Order dated April 04, 2020 issued by this Court.

W.P.(C) 4568/2020 This petition has been filed by the petitioner inter alia praying for the following reliefs:

"(a) Issue appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondent No.1 to consider the representation dated 09.06.2020 made by the Petitioner and take necessary action; (b) Issue appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondent no.1 to prescribe guidelines for packaging of pharmaceuticals products, including medicines and modify the guidelines on Good distribution practices for Pharmaceutical products in order to prevent harm or injury to users of the medicines;"

Relying upon a notice dated 25.09.2018 issued by the Drug Controller General (India), the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Draft Guidelines were circulated for comments from the stakeholders in the year 2018, however, have not been finalized yet.

On the other hand, the learned counsel for the respondent no.3 submits that grievance of the petitioner is addressed by the Drugs and Cosmetic Rules, 1945.

Without expressing any opinion on the submissions made and looking into the limited nature of the prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.1 to consider the representation of the petitioner and inform the petitioner of the result of such consideration within a period of eight weeks from today.
