The present petition has been filed seeking following relief: "(a) issue the writ of mandamus or any writ(s), order(s) and direction(s) against the respondents to expedite the action for disposal of the Mutation Application No.LD-16815 LABR/MUT/31012022 dated 19.02.2022 and Reminder Application dated 19.09.2023 made to the respondents in respect of allotment of Plot No.208, Pocket No.04, Block-C, Sector-28, measuring 60.00 sq.mtrs. situated in Rohini Phase-IV Residential Scheme, Rohini, Delhi in favour of the petitioner, in a time bound manner."

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted an application for mutation of Plot No.208, Pocket No.04, Block-C, Sector-28, Rohini, Delhi in the MIG category which was allotted vide Allotment-cum-Demand Letter no.F40(423)/2004/RHN/423 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. dated 19.01.2024.

He submits that the said allotment was made vide Allotment-cumDemand letter dated 19.01.2024 in the name of his grandmother who had expired on 09.11.1986. He further contends that all other legal heirs have executed relinquishment deed(s) in favour of the present petitioner qua the said plot.

He submits that no action has been taken by the respondent/DDA till date despite the fact that the petitioner had also given one reminder on 19.09.2023.

He further submits that as of now, the petitioner would be satisfied in case direction is given to the respondent/DDA to decide the petitioner's application for mutation in a time-bound manner. 8.

In view of the above, issue notice. Ms. Arti Bansal, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/DDA accepts notice. 9.

Having regard to the limited relief sought in the present petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/DDA to decide the application dated 19.02.2022 (Annexure P-4) submitted by the petitioner for mutation of the said property in his name within a period of eight weeks from today.

A copy of the decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.
