% 28.08.2020 CRL.M.A. No. 11780/2020 (for exemption) Exemption is granted, subject to just exceptions and subject to the applicant completing all requirements of filing the attested affidavits within 10 days of physical re-opening of the court.
The application stands disposed of.
CRL.M.A. No. 11779/2020 Pursuant to the order made on 14.08.2020, the petitioners submit that they tried to exit India on 22.08.2020 via the Haridaspur India-Bangladesh border, to return to Bangladesh. It is submitted however, that respondent No. 3/Bureau of Immigration, Ministry of Home Affairs did not permit the petitioners to exit and informed them that they could only leave India from the Delhi airport.

The applicants are presently stated to be in Kolkata; and do not have the resources to travel all the way to Delhi and then return to their native places in Bangladesh by air, which places are otherwise only a few hundred kilometres from Kolkata.

Mr. Musharraf Ali Khan, learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that other Bangladeshi citizens, who were similarly placed, have been permitted to exit India from the Haridaspur IndiaBangladesh border. 4.
Mr. Rohan Anand, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 3/ UoI states that he will take instructions in the matter. 5.
