A status report was filed on 14th September 2024, by the petitioner stating that the action which the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ('MCD') has taken with respect to the cemented road, in compliance with the order dated 12th April 2023, was just an eye-wash.

The photographs appended to the petition show that the cemented road is still present. Relevant photographs are extracted as under: The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Mr. Ashutosh Gupta, counsel for MCD, states that these photographs do not show the presence of road; however, they show that there was some demolition has been carried out.

The Court has perused the aforesaid photographs and is of the opinion that an inspection ought to be conducted by the MCD within next two weeks, and as per the direction of this Court dated 12th April, 2023, the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Petitioner's counsel states demolition and the remaining structure were merely superficial, and that the cemented road ought to be rendered unusable as a road; therefore, it is directed that further action is required to be taken by the MCD, which shall be carried out within next four weeks. 6.

Compliance report with photographs shall be filed with a copy to the counsel for petitioner.

Petition is disposed of with liberty to revive, if required. 8.
