The petitioner is seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent/husband for the wilful disobedience of the directions passed by the learned Judge, Family Court, New Delhi District dated 07.12.2023, whereby he was directed to make the payment of Rs.75,000/- per month w.e.f. the date of filing of the petition towards ad interim maintenance of the child. 2.

None is present for the respondent despite sending advance notice.

This Court is of the firm opinion that every breach of the directions/orders passed by the learned Family Court Judge, does not invite initiation of action under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. The learned Principal Judge, Family Court is competent enough to ensure compliance of its order/directions, including issuance of coercive measures.
