This petition is filed challenging the order dated 15.03.2023 whereby the non-attendance of election duty by the petitioner from 15.09.2021 to 08.12.2022 was treated as extraordinary leave (without pay). 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after issuance of show cause notice dated 17.11.2022, the petitioner had joined the election duty and reported to the concerned SDM.

Learned counsel for the SDM submits that the attendance record of other officials is available but there is no record with regard to the petitioner attending the election duty.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner is not pressing this petition with liberty to approach the Registrar of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) with proof of having attended the election duty from 15.09.2021 to 08.12.2022. The petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty as prayed for. 6.
There is no doubt that in the eventuality of the petitioner approaching the Registrar of IGDTUW with proof of having attended the election duty, the same shall be considered.
