% 22.05.2026 CM APPL. 35766/2026 (seeking to postpone demolition programme) 1.

The present application has been filed by the petitioners seeking a direction to the respondent no.1/DDA that after the representation of the petitioner is decided by the respondent no.1/ DDA, pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 12th May, 2026, two weeks' time be given to the petitioner to exhaust their remedies against the said order. 2.

no.1/ DDA opposes this request. She submits that no further time should be given to the petitioner for availing the remedies available in law. 3.

In my considered view, the principles of natural justice require that reasonable time be given to the petitioner to invoke remedies that may be available in law, against the order to be passed by DDA. 4.

Accordingly, this application is disposed of, while directing that in the event a speaking order passed by DDA is against the petitioner, no coercive steps shall be taken for a period of three (3) working days in order for the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies in law. 5.

The application stands disposed of in the above terms. AMIT BANSAL, J MAY 22, 2026 Vivek/- W.P.(C) 6378/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 25/05/2026 at 13:14:04
