The petitioner is aggrieved that his representation alleging that the Investigating Officer in FIR No. 141/2019 has demanded money and intimidated him, has not been decided. 4.

The petitioner claims that the Investigating Officer has demanded a sum of ₹3,00,000/- on the pretext of avoiding the petitioner's arrest in the FIR.

The representation to that effect was given to the concerned SHO on 08.04.2025.

He further submits that the present petition is only a camouflage to the non-cooperation of the petitioner in the investigation. He submits that the notice under Section 35 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been issued to the petitioner, however, he is refusing to join the investigation. 8.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would join and cooperate with the investigation. 9.

Be that as it may, since the grievance of the petitioner relates to the allegation that the Investigating Officer is demanding money and his representation has not been considered, this Court does not deem it appropriate to pass any order at this stage on the basis of the assurance given by the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State that the complaint would be looked into by the Senior Officials and appropriate action if required, in accordance with law, would be taken.
