Petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 224/2024 of Police Station Rajouri Garden for offence under Sections 323/341/506/427/34 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no. 2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

Respondent no. 2 present in court and identified by IO/SI Ashish Yadav accepts notice. Learned APP accepts notice. 3.

I have spoken with the parties in Hindi. Respondent no. 2 submits that he does not wish to pursue the prosecution of petitioners and has compromised the disputes with them.

Learned APP submits that State has no objection to quashing, subject to terms, especially because respondent no. 2 appears to be under some pressure. I have again spoken with respondent no. 2 as to whether he would prefer continuing the prosecution. But respondent no. 2 insists that he does not want to pursue prosecution.

Considering the overall circumstances, the petition is allowed subject to each of the petitioners depositing cost of Rs. 20,000/- with DHCLSC within one week and the FIR No. 224/2024 of Police Station Rajouri Garden for offence under Sections 323/341/506/427/34 IPC and proceedings arising out of the same are quashed. Pending application stands disposed of.
