This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

Vide order dated 5th February, 2026 the Court had directed the Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services Authority (hereinafter, 'DSLSA') to get in touch with the Survivor and place on record a status report in respect of the compensation.

The DSLSA has filed a status report stating that the amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- has been disbursed to the Survivor on 23rd May, 2019. 4.

The statement of the Survivor that she had received the said amount has been attached as Annexure-C to the present application. 5.

Accordingly, DSLSA need not appear for this matter and is discharged. 6.

In view of the fact that the appeal has itself been dismissed vide order The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 13/03/2026 at 12:36:22

dated 5th February, 2026, the surety given by the Respondent also stands discharged.
