A Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C has been filed for quashing of FIR No.43/2017 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC filed by the petitioner on the basis of Memorandum of Understanding dated 30.10.2023 vide which the parties have agreed to reside together.

The respondent No.2 is present in person in the Court and submits that there has been no Settlement as she has not been permitted to stay in the matrimonial home and has not been given any money for her expenditure. She submits that she is not inclined for any Settlement. 3.

In view of the statement of the respondent No.2, the present petition is hereby dismissed.
