The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the petitioner be granted parole for a period of eight weeks. 2.
It is also averred that the nominal roll indicates that the petitioner was granted parole for a period of four weeks from 30.01.2020 to 27.02.2020 by virtue of the orders passed by this Court.

Mr Mahajan, learned ASC appearing for State points out that the petitioner has not approached the concerned authorities for seeking parole. He states that in the event the petitioner approaches the concerned authorities, his request for parole will be considered in accordance with the rules and the prevalent policies.

In view of the above, this Court directs the concerned authorities to consider this petition as his application for parole/emergency parole as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one week from
today.
