As per the report dated 17th May, 2024, received from the office of the Superintendent of Prison, Central Jail No.11, Mandoli, Delhi, vide order dated 22nd April, 2024, the petitioner was released on furlough for a period of three weeks from the date of release, however, has not surrendered after the said expiry of three weeks.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner handed over a copy of the order dated 25th October, 2023, passed in Writ Petition (Criminal) No.205/2024 by the Hon‟ble Supreme Court, whereby the Hon‟ble Supreme Court has extended the time to surrender till 30th November, 2024. The order dated 25th October, 2023, passed by the Hon‟ble Supreme Court is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid, no further orders are required to be passed on the report received from the Jail Superintendent. However, a copy of this order be sent to the Superintendent of Prison, Central Jail No.11, Mandoli, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
