The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be passed to respondent nos. 2 and 3 to afford the necessary protection to the petitioners.

The petitioners claim that they are majors and have married against the wishes of family members of petitioner no.1. They are apprehensive about their own safety and claim that threats have been issued by respondent nos. 4 to 7.

By an order dated 02.05.2019, this Court had directed the SHO, P.S. Chhawla to provide necessary protection to the petitioners through Beat Staff and in case any specific complaint is received, take the necessary action in accordance with law.

The order passed on 02.05.2019 is made absolute.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. 6.

The petition is disposed of.
