This order is being passed in view of a similar Order dated 12.03.2025 passed in W.P.(C) 3183/2025, covering the present issue. Based upon the said order and using the same reasons and expressions, this order is being passed.

The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayer:- "a) issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction to process & decide petitioner's application for change/correction of name of Petitioner institution as "Matrushri Vrajkuvarben Bachubhai Manvar PTC College" in a time bound manner; and/ or b) issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction to respondents to inform affiliating body as well as department of higher education, government of Gujarat communicating changed name of petitioner institution and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that the application dated 09.04.2026 filed previously by the petitioner, which is pending before the respondents, has not been decided yet. 4.
For the said reasons, issue notice.

Learned counsel for the respondents accepts notice. He does not dispute the fact that the application of the petitioner is still pending for consideration.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to decide the pending application dated 09.04.2026 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, if not already decided. It is further directed that the respondents shall follow due process.

It is also open for the respondents to call for any information, if necessary, in deciding the request of the petitioners. 8.
Needless to state, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, and therefore, in case the petitioner is aggrieved by any order passed by the respondents, it will be open for the petitioner to seek legal recourse as permissible in law. 9.
No further relief is prayed for, at this stage. 10.
In view of the above, the present writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
