The petitioner is undergoing a sentence of life imprisonment, having been convicted under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, in connection with FIR No. 303/2009 registered at Police Station Maurya Enclave, Delhi.

This writ petition concerns an application for parole submitted by him on 15.03.2026, which has not elicited a response. 3.

Mr. Sanjeev Bhandari, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, submits, upon instructions, that the application is pending consideration before the Competent Authority and will be decided within a period of three weeks from today.
