The present application is filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking regular bail in Crime No. VIII/26/DZU/2020, under Sections 8/22(c)/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 2.

The learned counsel for the applicant, at the outset, submits that the applicant has already been granted bail by the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana by order dated 15.01.2024, in CRM-M No.54322/2023, in FIR No. 344/2020, dated 13.07.2020, registered at PS City Barnala. 3.

He submits that the applicant was taken into judicial custody for the first time on 06.08.2020, in FIR No. 344/2020. He states that the applicant was arrested subsequently in the present case, and other cases, while he was in custody in FIR No. 344/2020.

He further submits that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the present case, and the liability in relation to all the pending investigations has been fastened on the applicant The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. merely because he was arrested in FIR No. 344/2020, in which he has already been granted bail by the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana.

He seeks liberty to withdraw the present application and place the fact that the applicant has been granted bail in FIR No. 344/2020, by the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana, before the learned Trial Court, and approach this Court in case any grievance remains.

In view of above, the present application is dismissed with the aforesaid liberty.

Needless to say, as and when any such application is filed by the applicant, the same would be considered by the learned Trial Court expeditiously on its own merits.
